The story was based in real Hattrick "abductions", that were done by the following team:

Savoie U-20 (506950)
Press Announcement 18/5/2007, Dahu says: "We 've kidnapped 1 Swedish international (Henry Håkansson) and 2 German internationals (Eike Last and Lutz Eiswoog). If you HT's don't give us an own French region "Savoie" in Hattrick, we will fire them. If there is no "Savoie" in 1 week, they will be fired."

This team does not exist any more!
